** Reminder….. ———————————————————— Hey CAMRA Members and Craft Beer Enthusiasts,
I hope everyone out there had a great 2018, a fantastic holiday season, and looking forward to 2019!
On that note, it’s time to gear up for the annual CAMRA Victoria AGM, this year happening on Monday January 21st at 7pm. We have secured a new location this time, The Argyle Attic at Smith’s Pub downtown.
Your VP/Membership Director Cayla will be there around 6:15 to take care of any renewals in advance of the 7pm start. So if you’re in need of renewing your membership, show up early to get it completed.
At the AGM we’ll be reviewing our progress over the past year, while also looking at where CAMRA will be heading into 2019. Most importantly though, we’ll be voting on our next executive that will lead us into this year.
As in past years, the esteemed John Rowling has agreed to collect nominations for the 2019 executive, with the following positions available:
– President – Vice President – Membership – Communications – Events – Treasurer – Merch & Marketing
All members in good standing are eligible to be nominated in the aforementioned categories. If you, or even a fellow member you know, has a passion or desire to be a member of the 2019 executive committee, please submit your nomination(s) to the following address:

Make sure to include the full name, (if you know it,) along with the position you’re nominating them for.
However, before the AGM there’ll be the Celebration of Life for Greg Evans on Saturday January 19th, starting at 1pm in the upstairs portion of Spinnakers Brewpub. Lastly, we’re in the planning stages towards possibly holding an event at ile Sauvage brewery sometime after the AGM, maybe February or so. Stay tuned for more info.
